McCaskill Clear Winner In Gubernatorial Debate Bob Holden Rattled? During the hour debate, the governor failed to offer any new ideas but instead spent a great deal of time playing the blame game. He blames almost all of his failures on the Republican party and the state's GOP controlled legislature. If the governor wasn't complaining, he was dancing around the issues and offered little more than fluff for answers. |

![]() Claire Waves to Many Supporters |
In contrast to the governor, Claire McCaskill was relaxed, confident, and answered all of the questions of her, and to the point. It was so obvious that she was not afraid that someone would ask her a question that she wasn't prepared to answer. Claire McCaskill truly exhibited that she knows the workings and the ins and outs of the state's government. Unlike the governor, Claire McCaskill doesn't play partisan politics at the expense of the people of Missouri. She looks for ways that the two party system can work together to fix some of the state's problems. One really must come to the conclusion that Claire McCaskill would be a governor for all of the people of Missouri. (more) |
